Thursday, November 23, 2023 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM FELLOWSHIP HALL The Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Group really appreciates all of the support and care that this church provides for us!   We are truly blessed and we want to invite you to Thanksgiving Breakfast as a small gesture of thanks for your love.  Breakfast will be served at 8 AM and will include Breakfast Casserole, grits, and biscuits.  And once your body is nourished, there will also be a short devotion (at 8:45 AM) to nourish your soul as well!  See you there! This breakfast is by DONATION ONLY, we want you to come and enjoy yourself with us!!!

STAR OF BETHLEHEM………Dec. 9 – 10, 2023

The Star of Bethlehem is working its way closer to Memorial Church! It won’t be long before December 9th and 10th will be here! Please encourage your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers to put this event on their calendars and attend. There are more ways you can help get the word out. We have posters (11×17) to be put in businesses, wallet-size cards with ALL of our December events, and flyers that can be distributed to clubs, organizations, etc. If you are willing to help deliver some of this advertising, please call or text Lynda Stone at 336-882-6046 and we will get you the needed items. Let’s all work together and make this Nativity story available to as many people as possible.

UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH CHRISTMAS DINNER

United Women in Faith invite you to their Christmas Dinner Celebration on November 27th in the CEC building at 6:00 PM. Their program is Christmas music by their Children lead by Lynda and Doris. Daelyn Denton will share her beautiful Christmas selections with us. Special Mission Recognition Pins will be presented during this meeting. This is a wonderful way to begin your celebration of Christmas! Please invite a guest; this is a great time to invite new members or visitors. Cost is $10.00. Children in the program and under 12 are free. Please call or text your reservations to Lynda Stone by November 22nd at (336) 882-6046.

Those who volunteer at CCM have realized an increase in clients, as well as in their needs.  All the personal products we previously donated have been distributed. If you could you help alleviate the situation by bringing 1 or 2 personal items to our meeting, that would be greatly appreciated.
