WOMEN’S RETREAT: CAFE CHOCOLAT

SEPTEMBER 22 – 24
NEW RIVER, FRIES, VA
$170 PER PERSON

Does simply thinking about chocolate bring a smile to your face? Try thinking about this—hanging out at a café with friends, while enjoying your favorite hot beverage, nibbling on a brownie or bit of chocolate pie, laughing, talking, and relaxing together—it’s a perfect gathering!

Café Chocolat is a relaxing chocolate-themed retreat the women of our church are doing together. It includes worship, Bible study, and time for laughter as well as time for quiet reflection. And while the name of our gathering sounds indulgent, we’ll actually be using chocolate as a metaphor for God’s extravagant grace.

We’ll begin on the evening of September 22nd and will finish by noon of September 24th. Our retreat will be held on the beautiful, New River in Fries, VA and the cost is only $170 per person! This covers five delicious meals, fun and refreshing activities, and comfortable lodging. This retreat is available for the first 12 participants who register. Please send a deposit of $85. Balance will be due on August 15th. Deposits are non refundable. Gift certificates are
also available by request.

Call Lynda Hepler at 336-472-9711 or email lhepler@mumctville.org to learn more and register.
Take time to relax, to make new friends, to worship, and to draw closer to God. We hope you’ll join us at Café Chocolat.
Warmly,
Lynda Hepler
