FINCH COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

If you have aged out of VBS, we have something for you! This year will be the first Finch Community Festival event, June 23rd & 24th. More information is to come, but this will be a time of singing and celebration of the life of Jesus. It is open to the community, so make sure to bring friends and family!

LIGHTHOUSE CONGREGATION

The Memorial Church Council met on April 25th and chose to become a Lighthouse Congregation of the Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. In doing so, we are committing to remain part of The United Methodist Church and we will also offer hospitality to those who have lost their church homes through disaffiliation or closure. We will partner in this work by providing a welcoming place, offering ministry opportunities, helping organize remnant groups in our community, and assisting individuals and groups in discerning their next steps as they find a new church home.

BLESSING OF PRAYER SHAWLS

Prayer Shawls will be blessed this Sunday, May 7th at both services.

The Chicks with Sticks and The Tuesday Morning Sewing Ministry have been busy making Prayer Shawls.  These shawls will be distributed to Davidson County Hospice as well as to our congregation as the need arises.

Please join us as they will be on display and blessed during the morning worship.

If you or someone you know would like to join either or both groups to knit or sew, we welcome everyone to join us!

RADIO BROADCAST

We will be discontinuing our radio broadcast on Sunday, May 14th. If you typically join us for worship in this way and need assistance in accessing our online broadcast, please feel free to contact the church office.

CLERGY AND STAFF ARE AVAILABLE

You may contact members of the staff directly or by calling the church office at 336-472-7718 and following the instructions on the recording. Here is a list of staff phone extensions and email addresses, for reference:
