  • Adult Bible Study: Words of Life
Nearly everyone has heard of the Ten Commandments, the list of “thou-shalt-nots” found in the Bible. Jesus saw these commandments not as onerous burdens, but as guideposts to help us experience a good and beautiful life. Join others from Memorial as we take a fresh look at these ancient words.
  • Youth Small Group: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Children’s Choir: 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Kid’s Bible Study: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

2023 Pledge Cards and information have been sent out. If you do not receive yours, there are extras in the Narthex for you to pick up or you can call the church office to pick one up or have one mailed to you.  If you have any questions, please contact Kristin Shores at (336)472-7718 or kshores@mumctville.org

The World Thank Offering is one of United Women in Faith’s Mission Giving Channels. It offers us as UMW members the opportunity “to respond to God’s abundance and grace with spontaneous gifts of gratitude”. The funds are used to support local and global mission programs that benefit women, children, and youth. If you would like to contribute to this offering, please send your check or cash to the church office (PO Box 428, Thomasville, NC 27361) by Monday, Nov. 21, and indicate for the UMW World Thank Offering.
This is also a reminder that there is still time to make a pledge to our United Methodist Women for 2022, and we have until the end of December for the payment of pledges. Thank you for your continued support.
                                                         Many Blessings.
Elaine Rabon, President and Martha Berrier, Treasurer

STAR OF BETHLEHEM

The city of Bethlehem will soon come to life in our parking lot. Before you know it December 10 and 11 will be here and the 2022 drive-thru nativity story will be presented once again!

Village people are needed to make Bethlehem a bustling city. Saturday and Sunday nights will be from 5:30-8:30 pm. There will be two 45-minute shifts with refreshments in between. This is a great way for entire families to participate together. You will enjoy the food and fellowship provided for cast members and workers, and most of all, the fun of being in the village and a part of this production.

If you have previously participated, or are new to this event, please call or email Tim Lyons and let him know of your desire to be in the cast this year. You may reach him by email at tlyons00@gmail.com or 336-259-6920 by phone.

Volunteer today! Be a part of this gift to our community.

Whether you rented a space or came to shop, helped clean up or baked goodies, worked behind the scenes or welcomed our community…THANK YOU.  Our event was a tremendous success!!  We look forward to our 17th Gifts Galore on the first Saturday in November next year!
