Please make your reservations no later than Monday, October 3rd by filling out the insert in Sunday’s bulletin, calling the Church Office at 336-472-7718, or emailing office@mumctville.org.

Nursery Care will be available.

Program Details:

  • Adult Bible Study: Words of Life
Nearly everyone has heard of the Ten Commandments, the list of “thou-shalt-nots” found in the Bible. Jesus saw these commandments not as onerous burdens, but as guideposts to help us experience a good and beautiful life. Join others from Memorial as we take a fresh look at these ancient words.
  • Youth Small Group: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Children’s Choir: 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Kid’s Bible Study: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Please join us Sunday, October 2nd at 6 PM for a special blessing of the animals! The service will be held on the front lawn.

DONATIONS NEEDED

The Bag Ladies need your help! As you switch your closets from summer to fall, go through your pocketbooks, wallets, totes, etc., please consider donating some to the Alter and Arts annual sale on November 5th at Gifts Galore!

This sale has been a very successful event for our committee for several years as we continue to raise funds to provide costly “things” for our church, replace or refurbish the decorations we use to enhance the church during special holidays, etc.

Thanks in advance for all your support and donations- and remember- we ALWAYS need more people on our committee. We work hard (sometimes) but have fun (all the time)!

PUMPKIN DOWNLOAD – HELP NEEDED!

Come download pumpkins with us on Saturday, October 15th at 2 PM! Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one and as many friends and family members as you can!

The time is subject to change, depending on the arrival of the delivery truck.  In the event of a MAJOR change, we will post it on Facebook and send out an email as soon as we can!  We appreciate your flexibility!

Additionally, We Need Your Help Selling Pumpkins!
Daily shifts are available for October 15-30! This is a fun way to work together to support the church. We’d like at least two volunteers per shift. Click HERE to visit the Signup Page.

See Eric Kuppel or contact the office at 336-472-7718 with any questions!

STAR OF BETHLEHEM

Star of Bethlehem is happening this year! All the beautiful settings and costumes, the camels and all the animals, the marketplace, and more are ready to go. This is an awesome event that will take place Saturday, December 10th, and Sunday, December 11th from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

However, we still need people to fill the settings and marketplace! Leslie Gibbs and Tim Lamb will be calling on folks to be a part of this year’s cast to make the production a success. If you have done this before, you know how rewarding it is for everyone!

Please give Leslie or Tim a call and volunteer to be a part of Star of Bethlehem. You can reach Leslie at 336-880-1600 or email: gibbsleslie12@gmail.com. Call Tim Lamb at 336-880-5048 or email him at: tlamb5@triad.com. Sign up to be a part of this gift to the community!

GIFTS GALORE

Gifts Galore will be back on November 5th!  This is an excellent day of shopping that helps support local vendors and local charities. There are various crafts, woodworking, leather work, specialty food booths, plus so much more.  You can come by and shop and/or set up a booth.  Either way, it is a great day of fellowship!

We hope to have you join us! If you are interested in having a booth, please contact Marie Carmichael at (336) 476-4625.
