UMW BAKE SALE at the THOMASVILLE FARMERS MARKET
SATURDAY, JULY 16, 2022
8:00 AM – 12 NOON

Please help the United Methodist Women raise funds for mission giving! Any of the following items sell well at the Farmers Market: pies of any kind, cakes, cookies, candy, bar cookies, breads, breakfast breads, ham and sausage biscuits, snack mix, and granola.

Bring baked items to the church CEC on Friday, July 15, from 10 AM – 12 Noon, or to Sara Faulkner’s from Noon until 5:00 PM. You may also bring items to the Farmers Market on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. Help is needed on the day of the sale from 7:30 AM -9:45 AM or from 9:45 AM – 12 Noon.

KIDS SUMMER BOOK CLUB

Book Club for 3^rd– 5^th grade students will be starting June 15^th and running through August 17^th on Wednesday evenings from 4:00- 6:30pm.  This summer the children will be reading and discussing “At the back of the North Wind” by George MacDonald. SUMMER TRAVEL CLUB

Summer Travel Club is back and in full swing! This is a monthly field trip that provides fun and fellowship for families in our church and community. All families are invited!. Van transportation will be available, or you can meet at the church to carpool. Trips this Summer: North Carolina Zoo June 11th – depart from church at 8:45 AM Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum July 16th – depart from church at 9:45 AM High Point Rockers Game August 13th – depart from church at 5:30 PM See or contact Lynda Hepler (336)472-9711 to with question and to make reservations. Reservations are due by June 1^st.

SUMMER DINING

Each Wednesday, prior to Covid, many of us continued to meet during the summer on Wednesday at 5:30 at different restaurants for dinner and fellowship. If you would like to participate beginning with Sunrise Grill on June 15, please call or text Lynda Stone at 336-882-6046 by Friday, June 10.

ART CAMP 2022: DISCOVERY!

JULY 25-29, 2022 9 AM – 3 PM For rising 1st-6th graders Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all campers. All materials and food are covered in the registration fee. Registration fee: $100 per student Registration is limited! First come, first serve. Please see or contact Lynda Helper (lhepler@mumctville.org) for a registration form.
