VIRTUAL WORSHIP RESOURCES:

SPRING BIBLE STUDY – THE LORD’S PRAYER

The Lord’s Prayer holds a significant place in our faith. It offers hope in times of trouble. It is a declaration of our faith. It is a petition for guidance. The words of The Lord’s Prayer roll off our tongues so easily, that we sometimes miss their significance. While we recognize the prayer as sacred, we sometimes fail to grasp its power.

Through this study, we will revisit this model prayer given to us by Jesus and look more deeply into its meaning. Adam Hamilton suggests that this is more than a model for prayer, but a model for living. Join us for new insights into this great gift that we know as The Lord’s Prayer.

There are 2 session times available starting April 20th – June 1st:
Wednesday’s at 6:30 PM – Following Wednesday Night Dinners
Thursday’s at 10:00 AM

If you are interested, please contact the church office at (336) 472-7718 or by email at office@mumctville.org.

UKRAINE

How to assist the Ukrainian people
The United Methodist community in Ukraine, though quite small, is actively engaged in assisting neighbors in need. Global Ministries is in touch with the church’s leadership as well as with church leaders in countries welcoming those who are fleeing from violence in Ukraine.

If you wish to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people in the wake of the Russian invasion of their country you may give a check to the church by marking it “Ukraine”. Your gift will provide direct assistance to those in Ukraine, as well as assistance to Ukrainians fleeing to neighboring countries.

Due to the United Methodist connectional structure, one hundred percent of all contributions go to the designated cause.

MISSION BUILDING TEAM

Last December, Tornadoes devastated areas in Tennessee & Western Kentucky. They are making progress in accepting teams to rebuild homes and churches.  We would like to take a team from Memorial to help in the rebuilding.

If you are interested in joining the team, please contact the church office at (336) 472-7718 or speak to Pastor Danny Leonard.
