SOUPer BOWL CAMPAIGN

Our youth group is sponsoring a SOUPer Bowl Campaign this year and needs your help! They will be collecting canned soups until Sunday, February 13th to be donated to the Food Pantry at CCM.

NORWAY EXPEDITION

All children ages 5 and up are invited to join the Expedition!

We’ll explore Norwegian culture on the fun geographic mission study with bible stories, music, games, food, and much more! This four-week Expedition begins February 16th from 6-8 pm. The adventure will embark on the third-floor classrooms. Contact Lynda Hepler to sign up!

Due to current circumstances, the pancake meal scheduled for March 1, 2022, has been canceled. 

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

By means of an anonymous donation to United Methodist Women in the early 1980’s, a Scholarship Fund was established to recognize deserving young people who are members of our church or active in the UMYF. The first two scholarships were
awarded in 1982 and 117 young people have benefited from this program. Other donations over the years have added to the scholarship fund including our yearly Valentine Tributes.

Because of several factors, the Methodist Women will not have the Valentine Tributes this year. However, if anyone would like to contribute to the UMW Scholarship Fund, please send it to United Methodist Women Scholarship, P.O. Box 428, Thomasville, NC, 27361

RECEPTIONIST NEEDED

We are needing volunteers to fill a few open spots on the receptionist list:

1st Monday of the Month 9 AM – 12 PM

4th Tuesday of the Month 12 PM – 3 PM

No experience is needed! You will receive on-the-job training. If you are interested in volunteering for this monthly duty, please contact Loretta Usher at 336-475-3929.

A/V TEAM OPPORTUNITY

Our A/V team is looking for a couple of individuals to help with our live stream production as a video producer. This is NOT a technical role, and no previous experience is necessary! We will train you in the use of the systems and what our processes are. You will learn to use the systems that enable us to professionally stream our worship services to Facebook and YouTube. As a video producer, you will run the live stream, managing all aspects such as camera views, images, and sound levels that you want the viewing audience to experience as the service progresses. You can apply your creative eye to the process to maximize the viewing experience for our online audience. You can get further information and your questions answered from either Philip Hepler or Tim Lyons. You can find one of us on Sunday mornings in the Vannoy Studio outside Jarrett Hall. Come join our team!
