LIVE NATIVITY SCENES

Live nativity scenes will be on the front lawn this Sunday, December 19th from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Make your plans to ride down Randolph Street to see the beautiful nativity sets reminding us of Jesus’ birth! Our prayer is that next year we will have the full experience of Star of Bethlehem once again.

CANDLELIGHT LOVE FEAST

Our Annual Candlelight Love Feast will be held this Sunday, December 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION

Holy Communion will be offered for all to receive in a come-and-go format on Christmas Eve, 5 – 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary. Bring your family and invite a friend and make this a Christmas Eve tradition. We hope to see you and celebrate this beautiful sacrament on the Eve of Christ’s birth!

CHRISTMAS SUNDAY BRUNCH

The Staff of Memorial is hosting you for a Christmas Sunday Brunch. Food, music, and a brief devotion will take place in lieu of the worship services. There will be no Sunday School. Please RSVP how many in your family will be attending the event. Sign up deadline is December 20th. Thank you!

HOMEBOUND COMMITTEE

If you are interested in joining our Homebound Committee, please contact Elaine Rabon at 336-442-4790. This is a very important social connection for our church and a great way to keep our homebound members involved!

UMCOR RESPONSE TO RECENT TORNADOES

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is on the ground and assessing the damage and providing for the immediate needs of those impacted by the tornadoes last week.  At this time, our most appropriate response is twofold.  We will continue to pray for the folks whose lives were affected by the storms and we can give money to support the relief efforts of UMCOR. Please indicate that your donations are for UMCOR. 

Because of our connectional system, 100% of your gift will go directly to help those in need.   As the rebuilding phase begins, we may have the opportunity to take a building team to assist.  Stay tuned.
