CHRISMON SERVICE

Advent begins on November 28th this year and Memorial will kick off its Advent Season with our annual Chrismon Service at 5:00 PM! Come and see the beauty of our Sanctuary all decorated and prepared for the Advent season. We will have special music and readings focusing on the many different images found on our Chrismon Tree. Prepare to enter the season before Christmas with a renewed heart and a right spirit!

HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE – FILL THE VAN

The Missions Committee is teaming up with Cooperative Community Ministry (CCM) to help provide toys to those in need. Please bring a new, unwrapped gift to the upper church parking lot on November 28th (9:30 – 11:00 AM) and December 1st (5:00 – 6:30 PM)!

Items such as board games, play jewelry & make-up, craft kits, blocks & legos, remote control vehicles, music toys, cars & trucks, kitchen sets, Nerf toys, sports equipment, baby dolls & houses are greatly appreciated!

Ages 6-12 have the greatest need!

THE STAR STILL SHINES

Join us for a special presentation by Memorial UMC’s Chancel Choir & Guest Musicians retelling the story of Christ’s birth on Sunday, December 5th at 11:00 AM.

This will surely get you in the proper Christmas spirit, so don’t miss it!

CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION

Holy Communion will be offered for all to receive in a come-and-go format on Christmas Eve, 5 – 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary. Bring your family and invite a friend and make this a Christmas Eve tradition. We hope to see you and celebrate this beautiful sacrament on the Eve of Christ’s birth!

LIVE NATIVITY SCENES

Live nativity scenes will be on the front lawn Saturday, December 11th and Sunday, December 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Make your plans to ride down Randolph Street during these designated times and see the beautiful nativity sets reminding us of Jesus’ birth! Our prayer is that next year we will have the full experience of Star of Bethlehem once again.
