Charge Conference

A Charge Conference is planned for Tuesday, July 1 at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary. The focus will be on proceeding with the replacement of the HVAC system in the Sanctuary building.

Vacation Bible School

The dates for VBS this year are July 27-31 for the main event, and August 1 will be a showing of the movie “The Prince of Egypt” for our grand finale.  VBS will run from 5:30 to 7:30 each night.

Churchwide Bake Sale

At the Thomasville Farmers Market

(Corner of Commerce and Guilford Street)

Calling all cooks to help with this project. Proceeds will be used to support UWF local, national and world-wide missions. Items that sell well are: all types of breads (including loaves of sour dough), fruit cobblers, loaf and whole cakes, pies, cookies, bar cookies (Brownies), granola, specialty nuts, muffins, coffee cakes, ham and sausage biscuits, to name a few. Items can be brought to the church on Friday morning, June 27, between the hours 10 AM – 12 Noon, or to Sara Faulkner’s house (910 Robinhood Road) from Noon -5:00 PM. Items can also be brought to the Bake sale on Saturday morning. If you are able to help on the day of the sale, please contact Sara Faulkner (336-689-2523). Thank you!!

Bargain Treasures is up and running!

On Saturday, August 23, our community sale of all types of items will occur.  We need your help for it to be a success!  ANY gently used goods from furniture to towels, dishes to children’s clothing, seasonal decorations to yard/shop equipment…literally anything that is in sellable condition will be accepted.  If you would not consider it in good enough condition to buy yourself, please do not give it to us.  If pick-up is needed, please call Ron Berrier (336-769-1828) so that scheduling can be arranged.

5th Sunday Brunch

RL Pope class will be hosting our 5th Sunday Brunch on June 29 from10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
