Bargain Treasures
It has been said “It takes a village to rear a child”. Something similar may be said in that “It takes a committed congregation from youth to older adults to make a church event successful”. That has happened with the project “Bargain Treasures”. From planning, to publicity, to recruiting personnel, to donation of merchandise, to pick-ups, to repairs, to table set-up, to transfer of items from storage, to sorting and pricing of goods, to preparing indoor signs, to accommodating customers at check out, to counting cash, to food preparation for those working the sale, to packing up unsold items for transfer, to the taking down of tables. Only with the help of each and every one could such a large project like this succeed. Thank you for making this possible. It is our hope that this project has also been a benefit for our community as well as to our church. Thanks to our community attendance and purchases, we have been able to raise an amount in excess of $14,700 dollars net of expenses. Thanks be to all.
