Are Coming to Memorial 

The Finch Outreach Ministry (formerly known as the Finch Preaching Mission) is bringing the Raleigh Ringers to Memorial for a 7:00PM performance on Saturday, September 21, for the Thomasville community.  The Raleigh Ringers are an internationally- known handbell ensemble that will amaze you with their musical capabilities and entertain you with their inventiveness and range of musical selections.  This event will be free to the public, so put the date on your calendars and tell your friends and neighbors.   

Wednesday Night Bible Study will be starting back on Sept. 4.  The meal will start at 5:30pm, but you can come between 5:30 – 6:15.  The meals are $10. The programs start at 6:30. We hope to see you all there.  Just a reminder that the dinners are by reservation.  Please have your reservations in by Monday at noon of the week to be counted.  

The Adult Bible study starting in September is Questions Jesus Asked by Margrey deVega.  The books will be in within the week and are $15.  You can contact Kristin to get one and pay.

At the Thomasville Farmers Market

(at the corner of Commerce and Guilford Street)

Calling all cooks to help with this project. Proceeds will be used to support UWF local, national and world-wide missions. Items that sell well are all types of breads (including loaves of sour dough), Persimmon Pudding, loaf and whole cakes, pies, cookies, bar cookies (Brownies), granola, specialty nuts, fruit cobblers, muffins, coffee cakes, ham and sausage biscuits, to name a few. Items can be brought to the church on Friday morning, September 13, between the hours 10:00 AM – 12 Noon, or to Sara Faulkner’s house (910 Robinhood Road) from Noon -5:00 PM. Items can also be brought to the Bake sale on Saturday morning. If you can help on the day of the sale, please contact Sata Faulkner (336-689-2523).
