How United Methodist Are You?

We are excited to announce a small group study beginning on Wednesday, November 1 at 6:15pm
We will use the book Being United Methodist Christians to guide our time together. With grace and hope at the center, this is a study of the history, theology and practices that define the United Methodist Church. During our six weeks together we will discuss practical, useful information for all United Methodists. It doesn’t matter if you have been a lifelong United Methodist or you are exploring the faith, you will find this study helpful in your faith journey.

So that we might be prepared for you, please let the office know that you plan to attend. You can reserve a book at the same time. Even if the books do not arrive before Wednesday, please plan to attend the study.

There will also be a group that meets on Thursday mornings at 10am.
Both groups will meet in the Youth Room in the CEC.

WE NEED YOU TO HELP US SELL PUMPKINS!!!

Daily shifts are available until October 30th! This is a fun way to work together to support the church. We’d like at least TWO volunteers per shift. The signup link can be found below.

On Sunday, October 8, Dr. Tina Cecil became a member of Memorial.  Tina comes to us from Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.  She  is a veterinarian and her practice in on National Highway.  Tina, and husband  Ron, have two adult daughters.  

On Sunday, October 22, Michael Scragg became a member of Memorial. Michael comes to us from Profession of Faith. He works in the HVAC services. 

On Sunday, October 29, Betty Dye will become a member of Memorial. Betty comes to us from St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She has found her place to be active at Memorial. 

We welcome these newest additions to our membership!

The Instant Church Directory (our previous online church directory)  is no longer in service.

We are now using “Realm Connect”.  This is an app you can download on your phone or tablet.

You can use this as your online directory, BUT ALSO… keep your personal information updated, check your giving and chat with others.  We will be issuing more information and sending invitations out.  Each member will create their own account and password.
