SIDEWALK CHALK PROJECT!

THIS WEEK  we will spread some random joy and love around the town of Thomasville by participating something called the “Sidewalk Chalk Project” (CHECK IT OUT HERE!). It’s a movement designed to leave temporary messages of encouragement and inspiration in public places so that when strangers come by and read the messages, they may be left in a better mood than when they came!

You DO NOT have to have any artistic ability, you DO NOT have to have any deep words of wisdom, you don’t even need to have CHALK! (I can provide the CHALK!). All that you really need is to have a desire to serve and provide hope for other people in this world! I hope that you will join us this Sunday. See you there!

DINNER is at 4 PM, We will be done by 6 PM!

CONFIRMATION CLASS

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26 10 AM RECREATION ROOM (2nd FLOOR of CHRISTIAN ENRICHMENT CENTER) A new “Confirmation Class” is beginning soon!  You can ask questions directly to Rodney if want to join! CONFIRMATION is a special class to learn and ask questions about the Christian faith!  At the end of the class (at teh end of May) you will even have a chance to get baptized (if you haven’t already taken this step in your faith) and join the church! APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT

JULY 2 – 8 DETAILS CAN BE FOUND HERE Our Summer Mission Project will be the first week in July and you must be 14 years old or going into the 9th grade to participate!  No experience needed, you don’t even need any special tools!  Its lots of fun and a great way to make new friends and help others too!

SUNDAY SCHOOL!!!

SUNDAYS!!! 10 AM YOUTH ROOM! (Upstairs in the Christian Enrichment Center) Join us for a discussion-based Sunday School Lesson!  No Bible knowledge necessary – Let’s learn together!  Bring a friend! NEW TEACHERS!!!  Summer & Tyler will be teaching during Confirmation!  Be sure to check them out!!!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

WEDNESDAYS 6:30 PM MEET IN THE YOUTH ROOM (Upstairs in the Christian Enrichment Center) These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well. WHAT DO WE DO? When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions: What was the HIGH POINT of your week? What was the LOW POINT of your week? Where did you SEE GOD during the week? HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP? Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an open invitation to just SHOW UP and we will guide you to find the perfect fit for you in a small groupl.
