SERVICE PROJECT NIGHT: PAINTING POTTERY BOWLS FOR “EMPTY BOWLS”

THIS SUNDAY… we will travel to a paint studio in High Point this week to paint Pottery Bowls for a ministry known as “Empty Bowls” which is designed to address the issue of hunger in our local community.  HERES HOW IT WORKS…I will buy each person a bowl.  You paint a BOWL with fun colors and a cute design (it will cost you NOTHING but your own creativity— the bowl, the paint and all the supplies will be provided) , then we will donate those bowls to our EMPTY BOWL COMMITTEE who will sell them full of tasty SOUP, at a special meal on Friday, March 17.  YOU CAN EVEN COME TO THE CHURCH AND BUY THE BOWL YOU CREATE ON THAT DAY (if you want)!  All of the money raised will go to local ministries who feed hungry people in our community!

NO SUPPER this week, but there may still be a treat involved!!!

We will return by 6 PM!

SMALL GROUP WILL NOT MEET AGAIN UNTIL JANUARY 18, 2022!!!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
