PICKLEBALL NIGHT!!!

THIS SUNDAY … We are going over to the Central Rec Department (we will still meet at the church) to play a game called Pickleball!!!  If you have never heard of Pickleball, it is THE fastest growing sport in the United States!!! It has nothing to do with pickles (even though there is a kitchen), BUT there is a ball and ‘Paddles’.  Its a little like super-sized ping-pong OR scaled down tennis, either way it is LOTS of fun!!!  I will have all the equipment that you need!  In fact, I even have a friend, Andy Tuttle who is a former Youth Minister AND currently the owner of a Pickleball Business in Trinity to come and teach us how to play! 

MEET AT THE CHURCH  — Dinner will be served around 4 PM, we will be finished by 6 PM!

Our church is currently making a new Pictorial Directory!!!  YOU DO NOT EVEN NEED TO BE A MEMEBER TO GET IN THE DIRECTORY!!!!!!

Let’s make sure the Youth Group is well represented!!!!

Every family photographed for the directory will receive a copy of the directory and an 8×10 portrait at no cost. So please, sign-up today!

HELP NEEDED: PUMPKIN PATCH!

We need your help this year in our Pumpkin Patch!  The Memorial UMC Pumpkin Patch has been a community icon for more than 17 years, and every year we rely on church volunteers to help staff the “Patch”.  Its fun and great way to meet new people and welcome people to our church!!!!  THIS YEAR the Youth Group & ASP participants will get to help sell pumpkins!  There will be a sign up created so that YOU and your family can reserve your spot!!!  I encourage you to sign up for 2 slots (if possible so that we can cover the entire time!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
