PROGRAM NIGHT: “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR”
(A.K.A.: EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT (ASP)…but was afraid to ask)
THIS SUNDAY… Chris is taking over this Sunday Night with a Program Night / Service Project Night COMBO!!! Come this week we will take a look at the importance of “Loving our Neighbors” (SPOILER: It’s not just about talking about love, it’s about doing things for them as well!!!) One way to do that is to participate in Appalachia Service Project. We will share about you can go on our Summer Mission Project! PLEASE NOTE: you must be a rising 9th grader to go on the trip, but everyone needs to come to this week’s meeting – there will be something for everyone!
If you have a friend that might be interested in going on ASP, do everything you can to get them to YOUTH this Sunday!!!! We will be answering questions and signing people up!
Supper begins at 3 PM
WE will END by 5 PM!

MIDDLE SCHOOL RETREAT: IGNITEUS!
We are going to CAMP HANES YMCA CAMP in KING, NC!!! We will be hanging out with a bunch of other Middle School Youth Groups from all over North Carolina!!!

- CLOTHES for warm and cold & you will be active on Saturday afternoon (closed-toe shoes are required on the ZIP-LINE & Climbing Wall!!)
- SLEEPING GEAR for a twin sized bunk bed (sleeping bag or blanket and sheets & pillow)
- TOILETRIES (soap, shampoo, towel, deo, toothbrush, Shower shoes, etc…)
- FLASH LIGHT
- PLEASE NOTE: NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED DURING WORSHIP!!!

MEET AT CHURCH
These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs. Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.
WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?
HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. Contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group! Hope to see you there!
