As we continue to focus on the ways we BELONG, this week we will be making care packages for COLLEGE STUDENTS AND we will also be making care packages for some of our OLDER ADULTS in our lives!  We BELONG to a legacy that not only includes those people from the recent past, but we BELONG to a long line of faithful people who have invested themselves into our church, our community and ultimately the life that we now enjoy!  Be sure to be here this Sunday as we celebrate those folks who have come before us as we let them know were a grateful for the footsteps that we now follow!  It’ll be lots of fun and there may even be a game or two as well!  SEE YOU THERE!

So, After Youth Group this Sunday (as well as Monday and Tuesday Nights this week) You are invited to come to the church at 7 PM for a very SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICE!!!  This year’s FINCH PREACHING MISSION preacher will be the Bishop of our Whole United Methodist Annual Conference!!!  His name is Ken Carter and he is a great speaker, you will really enjoy what he has to say!  I hope to see you there!  Bring your parents!

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL is BACK!!!  Sunday mornings just got a lot more exciting!!!  We are beginning our YOUTH (for Middle & High School students) SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS back after the COVID break!  Not only that, but we have a NEW teacher!  After 35 faithful years of teaching, Brant Conner has retired his position as Youth Sunday School teacher!  AND the person filling those BIG SHOES?  We are pleased to announce that Kahlan Davis will be the new Youth Sunday School teacher!  She is really smart, fun and enthusiastic!  She also has a strong faith that she is willing to share with others!  AND she has been trained by Brant over the course of a year as well!  Take a moment to stop by and sit in with her one Sunday morning!  You’ll be glad you did!!!  See you there!

MIDDLE SCHOOL SMALL GROUP WILL BE RETURNING SOON!  KEEP AN EYE ON THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS TO FIND OUT WHEN!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. Contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group!  Hope to see you there!
