3 – 7 PM
@KOONTZ FAMILY FARM
… we are meeting at Sonny Koontz’s Farm for the annual Church Picnic! We will have hamburgers and hot-dogs, football and corn-hole, a BIG bounce house AND slide for kids of all ages, a campfire and lots of fun fellowship!
Make sure to come out and bring a friend for a great time.
Also, just to clarify, we will NOT be meeting at the church!!! You are responsible for your own transportation this week (to use GPS: 751 Embler Road, Lexington, NC* (PLEASE NOTE: this is not the address for the farm so do not go to this house) the farm will be down a private dirt road called “Prospector’s Trail”. Park in the field to the left (there will be signs) and a haywagon will come pick you up, or walk down the dirt road and the farm is at the very end!
Please bring your own lawn chair and a dessert to share, everything else will be provided. Don’t miss out!
See you there!
SUNDAY SCHOOL IS BACK!!!
CEC ROOM #201
(second floor of Christian Enrichment Center)
YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL is BACK!!! Sunday mornings just got a lot more exciting!!! We are beginning our YOUTH (for Middle & High School students) SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS back after the COVID break! Not only that, but we have a NEW teacher! After 35 faithful years of teaching, Brant Conner has retired his position as Youth Sunday School teacher! AND the person filling those BIG SHOES? We are pleased to announce that Kahlan Davis will be the new Youth Sunday School teacher! She is really smart, fun and enthusiastic! She also has a strong faith that she is willing to share with others! AND she has been trained by Brant over the course of a year as well! Take a moment to stop by and sit in with her one Sunday morning! You’ll be glad you did!!! See you there!
MEET AT CHURCH
MIDDLE SCHOOL SMALL GROUP WILL BE RETURNING SOON! KEEP AN EYE ON THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS TO FIND OUT WHEN!
These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs. Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.
WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?
HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. Contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group! Hope to see you there!
