CEILING TILE PAINTING!!!
THIS WEEK…
Don’t miss your chance to leave your mark on our YOUTH GROUP ceiling!! We will be painting ceiling tiles for our Youth area (on the second floor of the CEC)! I will have the ceiling tiles and the paint, all you need is creativity and the willingness to share your talents with us!!! NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!! The idea is that you decide on an image, a saying, a scripture, anything that provides a positive message for people as they enter our Youth Room! We hope to see you there!!!
We will begin at 4 PM and will be done by 5:30 PM. (No supper)
AND at 6 PM we will have WORSHIP ON THE LAWN for the entire church and you are invited!!! AND This Sunday we are having a special “Blessing of the Animals Service“, so your pets are invited too! Bring them with you at 6 PM and they will get a special blessing at the service!!!
HOW WE ARE COMMITTED TO BEING SAFE (Please read before you arrive)…
It is FINALLY HERE! The Virus numbers are trending down, you are back in school, and we feel like it is reasonably safe for you (and your family) for us to meet in person again! I want to THANK YOU all for your patience with ZOOM YOUTH GROUP the last few weeks, especially those of you who participated!! It was lots of fun, but just not as good as actually seeing your faces in person!!! So, with that said, here are a few changes that we are making at Youth Group beginning THIS SUNDAY…
THERE ARE JUST A FEW CHANGES that we will be making in order to continue to reduce the spread and our exposure to COVID-19. Please read the following and fee free to contact me with any questions:
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please maintain a distance of 6 feet from other people at Youth Group meetings. This just means no hugging, wrestling, etc.
MASKS/FACE SHIELDS: Wear them! Whatever you are wearing at school, wear them at Youth Group. If you do not have one or forget to bring one, we have Youth Group branded cloth masks and disposable ones if you need one!
NO FOOD OR DRINKS: We will not be serving any suppers or offering any drinks.
HAND SANITIZER: We have hand sanitizer available if you want some!
OUTDOORS: The activities that we have planned will all be experienced outdoors! We are praying for a warm Fall and NO RAIN!
VANS: There may be a few activities that we will need to do away from church property. We have kept these to a minimum, but for these events we WILL NOT be using the church vans, so you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from these activities. More details about this will come on the days upon which these occur!
