WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP – MARCH 4th
Program: Medical Missions to the Dominican Republic, led by Danny Leonard
Join us for dinner this Wednesday. There will not be a program, but please stay for the 6:30 Ash Wednesday Service. Supper is at 5:30 and the service is at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary. The cost for supper is $8/Adult or Youth, with a $20 family cap. Children dining with an adult eat free, and no one will be turned away. Please RSVP to the church office by noon on Monday.

LENTEN LUNCHES AT MUMC
Our Lenten Lunches are right around the corner. During the season of Lent, from March 1 through April 5, the congregation and guests are invited to join for lunch in the Fellowship Hall following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The schedule of hosts for the lunches is:

LENTEN LUNCHES AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN
The first Lenten Lunch at First Presbyterian Church on March 3rd will be led by our own Danny Leonard. Mark your calendar for March 3 and the successive Tuesdays in Lent for Lenten Lunches at First Presbyterian Church. Soup and sandwiches will be served and the community is invited to attend.
12,084 CANS NEEDED BY PALM SUNDAY
LENTEN FOOD DRIVE
NOW THROUGH APRIL 5
Please help us collect 12,084 cans of food for CCM by Palm Sunday – April 5! That’s enough cans to line the sidewalk from CCM to the sanctuary. Leave donations in the in the Christian Enrichment Center on the wooden shelves in the lobby, or the drive-through bin under the covered walkway Mondays-Thursdays in Lent. Monetary donations also are accepted. Checks are payable to Memorial UMC, with “Lenten Food Drive” on the memo line.
UMW GATHERING MARCH 2ND – 6-8 PM
Ginger Cranford will lead our “Call to Prayer and Self-Denial” program. Tracy Brinkley will provide an update on the “Pathways to Hope” program in Davidson County. Cost for the meal is $8/adult. Our hands-on project for this Gathering is to support a new mother (It’s a boy!) in the Pathways to Hope program. Requested items are: bottles, diapers (newborn to size 1), and wipes. CIRCLE OF LIFE: A SPIRITUAL ART REFLECTION DAY RETREAT

PANCAKE SUCCESS
Our Fat Tuesday Pancake Day was a great success for our church and community. Nearly 900 people were fed, including deliveries to all the Meals on Wheels routes. Funds raised are still be tallied – stay tuned! Thank you to all our volunteers.
