CELEBRATIONS
First Responder Appreciation: Mission Accomplished!
Memorial’s children and youth recently made it their mission to share their gratitude with first responders. Last Sunday, Mission Possible and GLOW Kids made and delivered an appreciation box filled with movies, microwave popcorn, and handmade popcorn boxes to our Thomasville Fire Department. They also learned about life in the firehouse and about firefighter equipment. Meanwhile, the Youth were on an appreciation mission that evening too, visiting 12 local first responder agencies, and delivering 30 dozen doughnuts to about 167 people working at those agencies. We are grateful for the people who keep us safe and serve us in our times of need.
COOPERATIVE COMMUNITY MINISTRY (CCM) NEEDS
