ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Star of Bethlehem…another successful presentation of the nativity story was viewed by 1710 people and 21 dogs in 599 cars last Saturday and Sunday evening. In addition, there were about 250 people each night that took part to make it happen. That is over 2200 people remembering the birth of Jesus in such a beautiful way. A big Thank You to all who participated in making this event possible. To those who prepared the parking lot, put up the sets, decorated and placed props, worked with costumes, and directed traffic; to the animal trainers, policemen, those who served food to the cast—and for any other services performed—thank you just isn’t sufficient, but you are sincerely appreciated. Memorial’s gift of the Star of Bethlehem to this community is truly a Christmas Blessing. Again, thank you on behalf of the Star Steering Committee.

STAR OF BETHLEHEM COSTUMES

Please note that if you were assigned a role in Star of Bethlehem, your costume needs to be washed and returned to the Church by Christmas. About 20 people did not take their costumes home with them.  The smoked filled costumes to be cleaned are in the hallway on the way to the Heritage Room (formerly Library) in the main building of the Church.  Racks for the cleaned costumes are located in the reception area in both the Church and the CEC. The costume committee thanks everyone for washing and returning the costumes in a timely manner.
