NO YOUTH!
THIS WEEK... there will be NO YOUTH on Sunday! We want you to have a great Thanksgiving weekend with your family and friends, however, there is still an opportunity to serve God over the holiday weekend, and you don’t even have to miss out on football games or Black Wednesday, Thursday Friday Shopping!
THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST (Thursday, November 22nd)
6:30 AM – cooks arrive
7:00 AM – servers arrive
8:00 AM – breakfast begins
9:00 AM – breakfast is over!
We could still use some help – setting up, serving food and filling coffee/juice cups! So, if you haven’t signed up, show up anyways, we need all the help we can get!

ALSO… there are a couple of events coming up in the near future such as the Chrismon Service and Journey To Bethlehem and WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are interested in being involved in any of these please contact Rodney or talk with him Thursday. Thanks!
SMALL GROUPS!
So, for the last few years we have had steady growth in our “Youth Small Group” ministry. Some of you may not be aware, but we have a few small groups that meet on Wednesdays at 6 PM (they usually end around 7 PM) at the church. These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs. Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, Small Groups meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well. Small Groups are made up of 8 -12 people and you can become a part of one at anytime.
WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?
HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. The Fall Small Groups begin WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 at 6 PM. Contact Rodney and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group! Hope to see you there!
