COOKIES AND CARE PACKAGES
12 – 2:30 PM
THIS WEEK… We are going to make Care Packages for our College Kids and bake some fresh cookies for our friends at the hospital (and maybe a few other places as well!
Since many of us will already be in the kitchen preparing for this week’s ASP LENTEN LUNCH FUNDRAISER (see below) we are going to take the opportunity to bake some cookies too! AND while we are thinking about others we are going to make some warm fuzzies for the college kids too! Even if you are NOT participating in the Fundraiser, please come and eat at the lenten lunch (its free) and then we will make the care packages and deliver the cookies!!! It will be lots of fun!
LUNCH will served at 12 PM,
Care Packages at 1 PM,
Cookie Delivery at 1:30 PM,
We will be back by 2:30 PM!

ASP LENTEN LUNCH DETAILS
SUNDAY, MARCH 4

FELLOWSHIP HALL
This Sunday (March 4), the ASP TEAMS will be participating in a fundraiser* for this summer’s mission trip. The church congregation is invited to come and have a simple lunch in our Fellowship Hall and they are also invited to provide donations to ASP instead of going out to eat. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! (THIS IS ONLY FOR THOSE GOING ON THE ASP MISSION TRIP. THOSE NOT GOING ON THE TRIP ARE INVITED TO COME AND EAT – YOUTH GROUP WILL MEET AT 1 PM THIS WEEK – BUT ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BRING FOOD!!!)
We will be serving grilled cheese and tomato soup.
CHRIS WILL PROVIDE THE SOUP AND THE CHEESE…
ADULTS: dessert (15 servings ea)
YOUTH GUYS: 1 bag of chips (family size bag)
YOUTH GIRLS: 2 loafs of bread (white bread is fine)
Feel free to bring more if you like!
*PLEASE NOTE: Although EVERYONE (going on the trip this summer) is expected to participate this Sunday, the money that is raised WILL NOT be included in anyone’s individual fundraising efforts. Instead, the money that is raised will be used to offset the shortage of funds for those folks who are only able to raise the minimum amount of $350 (which is about $200 below the cost for each individual person to go on the trip). If you have any questions about this, please contact Rodney and I will be glad to explain!
