LASER TAG @ KERSEY VALLEY!!!
THIS WEEK we are headed over to Kersey Valley for some laser tag!!! This is the absolute best place to play laser tag ANYWHERE around! We will be outdoors, in a sort of junk yard with plenty of places to hide and snipe! So, get off the couch and grab a friend and get to the church this Sunday!
We will meet right after worship (around noon), I will feed you lunch before we go, then around 1 PM we will be leaving for KV. We will get checked in and geared up and play from 2 – 4 PM. We will return to the church around 5 PM! Its a LONG day so get you homework done early!
Cost is $20 per person (which is a great deal – it usually costs $28.50 per person).
I hope to see you this Sunday – the weather is supposed to be a little on the cool side so dress appropriately!
OH AND DON’T FORGET TO BRING CANNED FOOD FOR OUR CHURCH-WIDE FOOD FIGHT!!!

FOOD FIGHT!
OCTOBER 29 – NOVEMBER 19
During the month of November we will be collecting canned food for Cooperative Community Ministries! THIS IS A COMPETITION WITH OTHER GROUPS OF THE CHURCH!!!! So don’t let me down!!! Just find (unexpired) cans of food however you can — raid your pantry at home, go around the neighborhood, go to the store and buy cans — whatever it takes and bring the cans to the church and make sure it is LABELED: “YOUTH” so we get credit for it! Rewards for the victors will be announced soon!! (So will punishments for the losers – not that we need to worry about that!)
THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST
NOVEMBER 23
8 – 9 AM
Thanksgiving morning we will prepare and serve our annual Thanksgiving Breakfast to the our congregation! Our church supports us in so many ways, this is a way to offer appreciation for this support! I need cooks, servers and washers! Signup early by letting Rodney know what you want to do and plan on attending this great event! (Cooks arrive at 6 AM, Servers arrive at 7 AM, and Food is served at 8 AM!)
THOMASVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE

This year, Memorial will have a float in the Thomasville Christmas Parade!!! If you are willing to walk along the parade route with us and pass out candy and flyers, WE NEED YOU!!! Call Rodney (336) 906-3036 if you are interested!

We need actors and village people to come and help during the weekend of our LIVE DRIVE-THROUGH NATIVITY! We need people for all three nights, and you can invite your friends and family!
