WILDERNESS TRAIL

Thanks to our NEW FRIENDS at UNITY UMC, we are excited to offer a new ministry experience this summer, called “WILDERNESS TRAIL”!  Wilderness Trail is a week-long, faith-based backpacking adventure on the Appalachian Trail.  For more information about the details of the trip, please check out the website: HERE OR contact Aralynn McVey, (336) 596-4400 the Director of Youth at Unity UMC.

“Wilderness Trail believes that amazing things happen when you take people out of their comfort zone and place them in the beauty of God’s creation. Our main programming takes place in the summer when we take groups of youth on 5-day backpacking journeys on the Appalachian Trail.  Our central themes of servant leadership and being the body of Christ are lived out on the hike and here at our “base camp” during each 7-day event.  

Wilderness Trail has seen that incredible growth can begin with first letting go. As we let go of the worries and thoughts of our daily lives we are then able to begin looking outward. As we lose ourselves in the care of our neighbor we see God in us! “

WHEN?
The trip that we are planning on attending this summer is scheduled for July 22 – 28.

COST is $305 per hiker.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Aralynn is taking registrations NOW!  This trip is so popular that it fills up fast, so we need to have our reservations made ASAP, so we don’t miss out.  Please call/text Aralynn (336) 596-4400 by April 30 to let her know if you are going!!!
