This year, we’re taking a spectacular trip to ancient Egypt! Join us as we dive deep into the incredible story of Joseph, tracing his journey from the depths of prison all the way to the grandeur of the palace. This isn’t just a VBS; it’s a full-on Egyptian immersion that promises to be packed full of fun, fellowship, and most importantly, powerful Bible lessons!
Mark your calendars for July 27th – August 1st, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM each evening. Every night will be an adventure with thrilling games, creative crafts, and delicious snacks that will transport you straight to the land of the pharaohs!
And the grand finale? On the last night of VBS, August 1st, we’re rolling out the red carpet for a special Movie Night, complete with popcorn and all! Parents, you are absolutely invited and welcome to join us for this fun-filled evening.
This is more than just a summer program; it’s an opportunity for our children to grow in faith, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.

Volunteer Opportunities
You can become one of the many people that help make our worship services possible! You can become a member of our Audio-Visual team and learn new skills. There are no technical skills necessary, but an ear for music or a creative bent will be helpful. We will train you on all you need to know to help present our services to both in-person and online congregations. You can learn at your own pace, and schedules are completely flexible. For more information, please contact Tim Lyons at tlyons00@gmail.com or 336-259-6920.
Finch Series
The Finch Outreach Ministry Committee is pleased to announce the Finch Series of events for 2025. Designed to appeal to a variety of audiences, the series will consist of three events. September 13 will feature Nikita Koloff, a former professional wrestler who now runs Koloff for Christ Ministries. He has preached in over 1200 churches across the United States and internationally. He will share his testimony and is sure to be an inspiration.
On October 18, we will host the Second Chance Bluegrass Band, a bluegrass group committed to sharing the Gospel message. They delight audiences with their intricate harmonies while pleasing bluegrass critics with their high-energy acoustical music polish. Finally, on November 22, we will present “Silent Night: A Song From the Heart”, an original play by Doug Brown, Chair of the Theatre Department at High Point University. This will be a dinner theatre event in Jarrett Hall. We will need Memorial members for this! Auditions will be held in early September for actors and crew.
Watch further information on all these events in the next several weeks.

Bargain Treasures is up and running!
On Saturday, August 23, our community sale of all types of items will occur. We need your help for it to be a success! ANY gently used goods from furniture to towels, dishes to children’s clothing, seasonal decorations to yard/shop equipment…literally anything that is in sellable condition will be accepted. If you would not consider it in good enough condition to buy yourself, please do not give it to us. If pick-up is needed, please call Ron Berrier (336-769-1828) so that scheduling can be arranged.
– Your Special Projects Committee greatly appreciates your help!!
