9-SQUARE IN THE AIR & YOUTH COUNCIL MEETING

THIS SUNDAY…We will be bringing out the “9-SQUARE IN THE AIR” Game!  Just see if you can get TYLER out of that MIDDLE SQUARE (it can’t be done)!

ALSO…THIS SUNDAY we will have our FALL/WINTER YOUTH COUNCIL PLANNING MEETING.  it begins at 2:30 PM.  The YOUTH COUNCIL members and the ADULT LEADERS are expected to be there, HOWEVER it is an OPEN MEETING so everyone is invited to come!  JUST bring some fresh, new, fun ideas for our Sunday Night Programs!  We need new ideas for FUN Nights, SERVICE Nights, & PROGRAM Nights!!!

YOUTH GROUP T-SHIRTS!!! (I NEED YOUR SIZE!)

NEXT SUNDAY we will be customizing NEW YOUTH GROUP T-SHIRTS!

This year we will NOT be tie-dying the shirts.  We will be trying a technique that uses bleach and a spray bottle to create a unique, fun design. 

The images to the left show the design on the shirts, but the colors will be different!  Everyone that comes next week will get a shirt!  (If you would like to make a donation of $5 to help offset the cost, that would be appreciated, but it is not mandatory to get a shirt!

I REALLY need you to come to worship here at Memorial!!!

We usually have students from all over the area that come to Youth Group here at Memorial!  We come from different schools, churches, denominations, etc.  This is what makes our Youth Group great!  AND I seldom PUSH attending worship as a YOUTH EVENT, HOWEVER on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 at 11 AM MEMORIAL will be doing something called “CONSECRATION SUNDAY” and it is a Sunday that focuses on encouraging our church membership to support the many ministries at Memorial and respond to God’s call to GIVE as a way to grow in our faith!  I am not asking you to give any money, but I am asking you to do everything that you can to be present at this worship service.  The church supports our YOUTH MINISTRY in A LOT of ways and ALL of those ways cost money!  It would be great for the MEMBERSHIP to see what their investment into our YOUTH MINISTRY looks like by having as many YOUTH in attendance at this service as possible!

ASP 2024 INFORMATION & INTEREST MEETING

PLEASE put this date on your calendar!  We are starting the ASP process VERY EARLY this year!  We will be discussing this year’s SCHEDULE, FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES & EXPECTATIONS!

Coming to this meeting is NOT necessarily signing up for the trip.  We hope you will go, but this meeting can also simply help you figure out if ASP is something you want to do!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

WE RETURN TO THE CHURCH!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO? When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions: What was the HIGH POINT of your week? What was the LOW POINT of your week? Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP? Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an open invitation to just SHOW UP and we will guide you to find the perfect fit for you in a small groupl.
