MANY THANKS TO MELANIE BYERLY!

Melanie Byerly, the Arts Alive Academy Director for the past three years, will be leaving this position to pursue other music ministry opportunities that have been presented to her. Under her direction, the Academy grew from 52 students to a total of 109 students. The Arts Alive Academy Board is appreciative of the excellent work Melanie has done to bring many exceptional art experiences to children and adults in our church and the community. We wish Melanie the best as she continues to share her gift of music with others.

PART-TIME ART ACADEMY DIRECTOR

The Arts Alive Art Academy at Memorial is seeking a part-time Program Director. Candidates should possess strong administrative skills, a passion for the arts and a desire for students to develop their God given gifts. The position is 10-15 hours per week. CHURCH-WIDE BAKE SALE

Thomasville Farmer’s Market
corner of Commerce and Guilford Streets

We need the help of all cooks to make this event a success.

Proceeds will be used to support UWF mission projects and scholarship programs. Some of the items that sell well are all types of breads, seasonal fruit pies, cookies, brownies and other bar-type cookies, ham and sausage biscuits, cakes of all kinds, candy, fried fruit pies, granola.

Please bring items to the church on Friday, July 14, between the hours of 10:00 AM– 12 Noon. Items can also be dropped off at Sara Faulkner’s house Friday afternoon or at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning.

Help at the market is needed from 7:30 – 9:45 AM and 9:45 AM to 12 Noon.

United Women of Faith needs Clothes and Jewelry

UWF are having a jewelry and clothing sale on August 26th (more info to come) as well as November 4th with Gifts Galore.

Please consider donating infant, children, adult Men’s and Women’s clothing and shoes as well as jewelry. PLEASE LABEL DONATIONS: “FOR UWF” and leave in receptionist office! We will pick up!!!
