HIKE & COOKOUT at FINCH PARK! (meet at the church)

THIS SUNDAY… we will be headed to FINCH PARK in Lexington to enjoy the park! There are even hiking trails from .5 to 2 miles (AND weather is supposed to be NICE!!!!). HOWEVER if you aren’t into hiking, there are playgrounds and other fun stuff (including fishing)! We will cookout hotdogs (and other stuff to eat!) MEET at the church at 3 PM, we will take the vans to the Park, then return by 6 PM!

I NEED YOUR HELP … PALM SUNDAY EDITION!!!

You can participate in this year’s PALM SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE at 11 AM by being a part of the PALM BRANCH PROCESSIONAL!!! We will be carrying palm branches into the worship service for Palm Sunday! There is room for as many people as wants to participate! Be at church by 10:45 AM – meet in the “Narthex” (That area between the front doors and the main sanctuary where the ushers are!). If you cannot stay for the whole service, you should be done by 11:10 AM. PLEASE HELP if you can!!!

A new “Confirmation Class” is beginning soon! You can ask questions directly to Rodney if want to join!

CONFIRMATION is a special class to learn and ask questions about the Christian faith! At the end of the class (at teh end of May) you will even have a chance to get baptized (if you haven’t already taken this step in your faith) and join the church!

APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT

Our Summer Mission Project will be the first week in July and you must be 14 years old or going into the 9th grade to participate! No experience needed, you don’t even need any special tools! Its lots of fun and a great way to make new friends and help others too!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

MEET IN THE YOUTH ROOM
(Upstairs in the Christian Enrichment Center)

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs. Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an open invitation to just SHOW UP and we will guide you to find the perfect fit for you in a small groupl. Contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 if you have any questions! Hope to see you there!
