VIRTUAL WORSHIP RESOURCES:

 

“IN PERSON” WORSHIP:

Available in the MAIN SANCTUARY for those who are comfortable and would prefer to do so. Every effort has been made to provide a safe environment for our IN-PERSON WORSHIP service. It also is essential for us to continue to adhere to our safety practices.

What to Expect at Indoor, In-Person Worship

  • Access to the Sanctuary is through the RANDOLPH STREET ENTRANCE only.  The designated entrance for those needing the ELEVATOR will be the entrance at the Breezeway.
  • You’ll be greeted upon entering the church and asked a few COVID-RELATED QUESTIONS.
  • FACE MASKS will be required for everyone.
  • Some pews will be blocked to maintain SOCIAL DISTANCING; an usher will help direct you.
  • Out of respect for others, please refrain from SHAKING HANDS or HUGGING.
  • OFFERING PLATES will be available at the entrance and exit of the sanctuary.

The Staff Parish Relations Committee invites you to show your appreciation to Peggy May for her 21 years of service to Memorial as the Financial Secretary/Treasurer.

Her retirement is effective May 15. A special presentation to Peggy will be made on Sunday, May 16. Please submit your donations to the church by Tuesday, May 11, to the attention of Teresa Loflin.

United Methodist Women- Circles are starting back up!

In addition to the Sunday Morning Circle there is a Zoom gathering scheduled for May 15th at noon and the Evening Circle will meet on May 17th at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall.

GIFTS GALORE RETURNS

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6

We are excited to let you know that Memorial’s 16th Annual Gifts Galore WILL take place the first Saturday in November 2021 … November 6th! We have mailed applications and already are hearing positive responses from a great variety of vendors. Save the date to shop and spread the word around the community. If you or anyone you know is interested in being a vendor, please contact the church (336-472-7718) or Marie Carmichael (336-476-4625).

Thanks for helping Gifts Galore continue as a great event for our church!
