The United Methodist Church Response Hurricane Florence

HELP IMMEDIATELY…

PRAY for the individuals and families whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Florence.  Also, please keep those who are responding to the needs of these people in your prayers as well!

MONETARY DONATIONS:  Through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) 100% of your gift is given to “on the ground” relief efforts of natural disaster.

To give a donation write a check to: Memorial United Methodist Church, and designate it “Hurricane Florence Relief” and we will send the funds through our Annual Conference to UMCOR.

HELP IN THE FUTURE… 

Once flood areas are stabilized and first responders have completed their work, United Methodist Volunteer Mission Teams will be organized for home recovery. Memorial United Methodist will keep you updated on building team opportunities.

United Methodist Volunteers in Mission are also our partners providing training and guidance in volunteer management as well as trained volunteer teams – from both inside and outside the conference.
