THIS SUNDAY… MESS-tival 2024!!!  messy night!

THIS SUNDAY…  we will meet in the backyard for the night that strikes fear and regret in Rodney’s heart every time the Youth Council brings it up…  IT’S MESSY NIGHT (aka MESS-tival)!!!  This year we have a few games planned including “Truth or Consequences” to see how well you know our adults  AND Slip’n’Slide Kickball (with a messy night tweak!)  So, just a warning… DO NOT DRESS in your best clothes and don’t bring a friend with a weak stomach!!!  Its going to be A LOT of fun!!!

SPREADF THE WORD to all the folks who donated to you so you could go a serve!  Hamburgers and Hotdogs – (by donation ONLY) as a thank you to all those who supported us!  We will also show this year’s ASP VIDEO!

ACOLYTES!!!  HELP!

In case you have never heard the word “ACOLYTE”, an ACOLYTE is the person at the beginning of the worship service that brings in the flame to light the altar candles.  We need some volunteers to light the candles at the 11 AM service!   (the 8:50 AM service does not use Acolytes)  It only takes about 30 minutes to learn how to “ACOLYTE”.  Typically, you sign up for a month (4 Sundays) and then you will be the Acolyte for that month at the 11 AM worship service.  You would need to light the candles at the beginning of the service and put them out at the end.  If this sounds like something you might be interested in, contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 OR Brandy Lambeth (336) 688-6881 for more information!

SUNDAYS!!! 10 AM YOUTH ROOM! (Upstairs in the Christian Enrichment Center) Join us for a discussion-based Sunday School Lesson!  No Bible knowledge necessary – Let’s learn together!  Bring a friend!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

SMALL GROUPS WILL MEET AWAY FROM THE CHURCH DURING THE SUMMER.  Please refer to the weekly text messages for location!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO? When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions: What was the HIGH POINT of your week? What was the LOW POINT of your week? Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP? Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an open invitation to just SHOW UP and we will guide you to find the perfect fit for you in a small groupl.
