MEMORIAL YOUTH GROUP

NO YOUTH GROUP THIS WEEK … BUT COME OUT for STAR of BETHLEHEM!

THIS SUNDAY…We will not have our normal weekly Youth Group meeting, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t come out to the church this weekend…

STAR OF BETHLEHEM is our drive-through Nativity presentation which attempts to transport people back to the days of Jesus’ birth.  Visitors will drive through the town of Bethlehem, ending at the stable including live animals!!!  The NATIVITY will be presented Saturday, December 10 & Sunday, December 11, (5:30 – 8:30 PM) both nights!  It is completely FREE.  Bring your friends & family, and tell you neighbors to come!!!  ENTRY will happen near the Central Recreation Center on Taylor Street, just follow the signs!!!

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!!!  If you would like to participate in the Nativity yourself … YOU CAN!    We need ACTORS to play shepherds, angels, Roman Guards, and especially villagers of Bethlehem!  It is A LOT of fun AND we need people of all ages (so your entire family can come a be a part of this very special Thomasville tradition!  We will even feed you!

IF YOU ARE ALREADY HELPING with STAR OF BETHLEHEM…

There are 2 SHIFT TEAMS A & B – Each team will be out for 2 x 45 minute shifts…
YOU will need to be at the church early enough to EAT & PUT your COSTUME (maybe around 1 hour early!)

SHIFT A (5:30 – 6:15 PM) & (7:00 – 7:45 PM)

SHIFT B (6:15 – 7:00 PM) & (7:45 – 8:30 PM)

PARKING will be available across the street behind the COURTHOUSE and a shuttle will travel between the parking lot and the church (or you can simply walk!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

SMALL GROUP WILL NOT MEET AGAIN UNTIL JANUARY 4, 2022!!!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you SEE GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
