YOUTH COUNCIL ELECTIONS!!!

THIS SUNDAY…We will elect a NEW Youth Council for 2023-2024!   Our Youth Council meets a few times a year for planning events, activities, & Sunday Nights!!!  We are always looking for FRESH, NEW ideas for FUN outings, PROGRAM topics, and SERVICE projects!   The Adult Council also works together with, and seeks the advice guidance of the Youth Council for various Youth Ministry policy changes as needed during the year.  A member of the Youth Council will also represent the Youth at Church Council Meetings!

You do not have to be present to run, but you MUST be present to VOTE!  If you cannot be here, but would like to nominate yourself for a position, please contact RODNEY before Sunday at 3 PM (336) 906-3036! 

PLEASE NOTE: We are aware of the limitations and pitfalls of an election process of this kind!  Often smart, creative people are not always identified as they should, AND there are only 3 elected positions so, we may have more than 3 valuable, much needed leaders, SO…even if you are not “elected” if you feel like you want to serve on the Youth Council, please contact Rodney for more information about how you can be involved!!!  There is ALWAYS room for new ideas!

Bring a friend and stuff the ballot box!  

There will ALSO be a “sweet treat” involved (no money needed), so don’t miss out!!!

SUNDAY SCHOOL!!!

SUNDAYS!!! 10 AM YOUTH ROOM! (Upstairs in the Christian Enrichment Center) Join us for a discussion-based Sunday School Lesson!  No Bible knowledge necessary – Let’s learn together!  Bring a friend! NEW TEACHERS!!!  Summer & Tyler will be teaching during Confirmation!  Be sure to check them out!!!

SMALL GROUP for HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!

FOR THE SUMMER ONLY:
WEDNESDAYS 6:00 PM MEET at DAIRI-O in THOMASVILLE (1811 Liberty Dr, Thomasville, NC 27360)

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of events, service, activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meets simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well. WHAT DO WE DO? When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions: What was the HIGH POINT of your week? What was the LOW POINT of your week? Where did you SEE GOD during the week? HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP? Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an open invitation to just SHOW UP and we will guide you to find the perfect fit for you in a small groupl.
