THIS SUNDAY we celebrate with our students and teachers as school starts back up for the Fall!

THAT MEANS…we will recognize our new 4th grade students at our “CHILDREN’S MOMENT” during both worship services, and we will make sure they are prepared for the upcoming school year by awarding them their very own age-appropriate BIBLE!!!  If you have not confirmed with Lynda that your 4th grade student will be in atatnedance to recieve their BIble, please contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 before Sunday morning to assure that we are prepared!  THANK YOU!!!

IN ADDITION, we will say a blessing over all the students, teachers & school staff as they enter into a new year with new opportunities and challenges!  Be sure to be in attendance for this special moment as we lift up the importance of learning!

STEWARDSHIP 2023!

CONSECRATION SUNDAY

Today we begin our annual stewardship program as we make plans for our ministries together for 2024.  This week’s special guest speaker is: Ralph Eanes

On Sunday, September 17 we will celebrate Consecration Sunday. We will worship together at ONE SERVICE on that day at 11am.

Following worship on that day we will have a CATERED LUNCH.

The Missions Committee has asked for help in collecting school supplies. There are buckets in both buildings for collections through August 27th.

CHURCH-WIDE BAKE SALE

We need the help of all cooks to make this event a success. Proceeds will be used to support UWF mission projects and scholarship programs. Some of the items that sell well are all types of breads, seasonal fruit pies, cookies, brownies and other bar-type cookies, ham and sausage biscuits, cakes of all kinds, candy, fried fruit pies, granola. Please bring items to the church on Friday, September 15, between the hours of 10:00 AM– 12 Noon. Items can also be dropped off at Sara Faulkner’s house on Friday afternoon or at the Farmers Market on Saturday morning. Help at the market is needed from 7:30 – 9:45 AM and 9:45 AM to 12 Noon. Please contact Sara at 336-689-2523 if you can help.
