“BELONG: LOVEFEAST!”

THIS SUNDAY… So, this Sunday we will set out Luminarias that line the sidewalks of our church and light the way to our Love Feast Service SUNDAY NIGHT.  We will meet at 4:00 PM. We will be done by 6:30 PM.

YOUTH GROUP POT LUCK DINNER!
This year, we will try something new for our supper after Luminarias.  I am asking you to bring your favorite side dish or dessert (to share) for a Youth Group Pot Luck!  The food can be ANYTHING you want to bring!  PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS KEEP YOU FROM COMING – even if you can’t bring anything, there will be plenty of food!!! I will be supplying the “main dish” so even if you are not able to bring anything, we will not go hungry!  But I believe that this could be a lot of fun to see what everyone brings!!!

LOVE FEAST…
We hope that you will choose to stay for the Love Feast at 7 PM.  If you have never been to our LOVEFEAST, it is a beautiful worship service where we sing Christmas Carols, and participate in a traditional Moravian Love Feast including special spiced cider and  hot cross buns from DEWEY’S BAKERY!  Its a lot of fun and it ends with a candlelight recessional!

HELP: CLEAN UP
Finally, if you are able to stay for the Love Feast, I need your help for about 20 minutes after the service to collect all the Luminarias that we set out.  It really does not take long, but the more people we have the quicker it goes!  We should be done no later than 8:30 PM!  Thank you for your help!

PLEASE NOTE:  MASKS!  We will make every effort to be outside. (WE WILL NOT WEAR MASKS OUTSIDE)  but we may be inside for a few activities as well.  We will expect you to wear a mask when we are inside — (this INCLUDES INSIDE THE VANS).  If you forget yours, NO WORRIES, we will have one for you!  Thank you for your diligence in this matter!

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL is BACK!!!  Sunday mornings just got a lot more exciting!!!  We are beginning our YOUTH (for Middle & High School students) SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS back after the COVID break!  Not only that, but we have a NEW teacher!  After 35 faithful years of teaching, Brant Conner has retired his position as Youth Sunday School teacher!  AND the person filling those BIG SHOES?  We are pleased to announce that Kahlan Davis will be the new Youth Sunday School teacher!  She is really smart, fun and enthusiastic!  She also has a strong faith that she is willing to share with others!  AND she has been trained by Brant over the course of a year as well!  Take a moment to stop by and sit in with her one Sunday morning!  You’ll be glad you did!!!  See you there!

MIDDLE SCHOOL SMALL GROUP WILL BE RETURNING SOON!  KEEP AN EYE ON THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS TO FIND OUT WHEN!

These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs.  Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, “Small Group” meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life.  You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well.

WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. Contact Rodney (336) 906-3036 and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group!  Hope to see you there!
