A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY OF BARBARA HEPLER

The family of Barbara Hepler would like thank the members of Memorial Church for the cards, emails, and messages on social media which we have received in the past few weeks. The outpouring of love shown to us has been overwhelming.  Prayers were certainly felt as we dealt with losing our beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Most importantly we would like to thank the ladies of the church who over the past three years, took Barbara in and considered her a member of Memorial.  When Barbara first began residence at Piedmont Crossings, Elaine Rabon asked if she could be added to list to be visited. Little did we know the outcome that would  follow.  There were weekly visits, cards sent, and flowers brought which had graced the alter during Sunday services. These acts of kindness and love were so appreciated.  Each week Barbara would remark and say how much she enjoyed it all. We are called to be disciples of Christ, and Memorial definitely answers that call.

Grace and Peace to you all,
The families of Charles Hepler and Cheryl Lee.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

DONATIONS FOR CCM

CCM continues to need our support, now more than ever.

Check out our Facebook page for weekly updates on where to find the can in town!  Meanwhile, we have shifted the focus to financial donations, as that is CCM’s greatest need at this time.

As always, you may mail donations for CCM to the church. Make checks payable to Memorial UMC, and note “CCM Food Drive” on the memo line. Mail your check to the church at P.O. Box 428, Thomasville, NC, 27361.

Donating to CCM online has been simplified with the inclusion of a CCM option on MUMC’s online payment website. Here’s how to donate online to the Lenten Food Drive for CCM:

1. CLICK HERE to access the Financial Giving online form at our website, www.mumctville.org.
2. Fill in the amount you want to contribute.
3. At the end of the Fund/Budget Fund line, click the DOWN ARROW/TRIANGLE ICON and select Cooperative Community Ministries. (Do NOT select the + ANOTHER FUND button.)
5. Select GIVE ONCE or GIVE MULTIPLE TIMES, depending on your preference.
6. Select GIFT DATE to select a specific day or use the default of Today.
7. Enter your email address and click CONTINUE.
8. A new page will open where you enter your financial information. Click GIVE and you’re all set.

The site is safe and secure. Additionally, you can use this same website to do your tithing and church offerings.

We hope this helps to make donating to CCM easier and safer for you. Let us know if you have any questions.
