(6:00-7:00 PM,  CEC, 2nd Fl.)  Designed to be different from our Sunday Night Programs, Small Groups meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. PUMPKIN DOWNLOAD –
STRONG BACKS NEEDED!

This is so much fun. The pumpkin patch comes to life October 5th with the arrival of half a truckload (that’s about 1200!) pumpkins. This is a great opportunity to flex your muscles and romp in the pumpkin patch. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one. QUESTIONS? Ask Eric Kuppel at 336-590-1650.

ANNUAL OBSERVANCE OF THE CHILDREN’S SABBATH

HARVEST HOPE 5K

SATURDAY OCT. 19

Help us to “Harvest Hope” for our neighbors in the greater Thomasville area and across the world who know the reality of food insecurity and malnutrition by supporting or participating in our Harvest Hope 5K event on Saturday October 19 from 9 to 11 am. Proceeds from the event will benefit  Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) and Empty Bowls. Since it’s October, it wouldn’t be complete without pumpkins, treats, photo-ops, live music, and lots of laughter! We encourage kids of all ages to wear Halloween/Fall Festival costumes. Our annual fall church picnic is scheduled for Sunday October 27. We are grateful to Sonny and Charlesanna Koontz who have invited us back to their farm for this annual tradition.  We’ll be serving burgers and hot dogs, hayrides, football, soccer, games, crafts, GIANT inflatable slide, bounce house (for the kids), and lots of great FELLOWSHIP!  Don’t miss it! Directions will be provided closer to the date and in the weekly eNews.

LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE KIDS AND LOVE JESUS! 

As mandated by our Safe Sanctuaries Policies, we must always have two non-related adults during all children and youth programming. Volunteers are needed to assist and occasionally lead various programs for our children. Without your help we will not be able to offer these programs for the children in our church community. Dates and times are below and at the links provided. You may select the dates that work for you—a weekly commitment is not required.  Please pray for guidance and sign up to volunteer. Thank you!

“STAR OF BETHLEHEM” IS NEW NAME FOR LIVING NATIVITY

Our living nativity, formerly known as Journey to Bethlehem/What Child Is This, has a new name beginning in 2019. Please start practicing saying “Star of Bethlehem” when you want to say “Journey.”  Also new in 2019, our event will run two days rather than three. Mark your calendars for Saturday December 14^th, 6-9 PM, and Sunday December 15^th, 5-8 PM. Note the earlier time on Sunday. Stay tuned for more details and ways to get involved.
