SIDEWALK CHALK PROJECT
5 – 7 PM
THIS WEEK we will spread some random joy and love around the town of Thomasville by participating something called the “Sidewalk Chalk Project”. It’s a movement designed to leave temporary messages of encouragement and inspiration in public places so that when strangers come by and read the messages, they may be left in a better mood than when they came!
You do not have to have any artistic ability, you do not have to have any deep words of wisdom, you don’t even need to have chalk (I can provide ALL these things). All that you really need is to have a desire to serve and provide hope for other people in this world! I hope that you will join me this Sunday. See you there!
Meet at the church at 5 PM (supper WILL NOT be served!), we will return by 7 PM.
ASP REWARD TRIP

Our annual mystery reward trip begins Friday morning (July 19). Here are the cryptic instructions that Chris sent out last night:
“Evening everybody. So I’ve got some times and a packing list for everyone. We will be leaving the church at 8:30 on Friday morning. Our first activity on Friday is something that is colder temp wise and I’ve been advised to have everyone wear pants you can move comfortably wearing, tennis shoes, and a loose long sleeve shirt. If you’d like to risk it by wearing something different you might be uncomfortable. The shoes are a must. You’ll also need 3 youth type outfits, one nicer-ish outfit (Michaela said dressy casual), one active outfit, something you’re comfortable swimming wearing, and a smile. Chacos might also be a good thing to bring. Obviously you’ll need toiletries and everyone should bring a towel. We should be back around town on Sunday around 1. Most of you have done one of these before so I hope you’re excited. If a parent has detail questions have them let me know…I won’t tell you😉. Y’all have a great night and we’ll see you Friday.”
