SERVE all people.

Our church finances are as follows:

Sunday Morning Welcome & Security at Memorial United Methodist

To provide a safe worship experience, the exterior doors at both services will be locked after the services begin. To meet fire safety standards all doors can still be opened from inside the buildings.

At the 8:50 AM service, the main door under the breezeway into the Christian Enrichment Center will remain unlocked and at the 11:00 AM service the center main doors into the sanctuary facing Randolph Street will remain unlocked.  The Superintendent of Buildings. and Grounds will provide watch during worship at these points.

Our goal is to provide a welcome and an open door for all of God’s people in Thomasville and the surrounding communities, while providing a safe place for our congregation. Together we are the body of Christ offered to the world.

NEW SERMON SERIES

Stories of Plenty: From Scarcity to Plenty in the Kingdom of God.

“Will there be enough?” It is a question we find ourselves asking daily. Will there be enough money to pay the bills, to send my child to college, to provide for my retirement? In the future will there be enough trust, mercy and hope to go around? In our Lord’s economy there is always plenty. Find out how this is true in this five-week sermon series. Prepare your hearts and minds for each message by following the Daily Journal inserted in the bulletin or available through the church website.

CHRISTIAN ENRICHMENT CENTER

The Memorial Youth want to thank our church for all that you do for us throughout the year!   It is because of your prayers, time, and financial gifts that we are able to go on retreats, participate in service projects, invite our friends to the church to play games and learn about God.  We are thankful for the way that you give to us and this breakfast is intended to be a small token of appreciation and a way that we can give back to you!

The Breakfast is by donation ONLY and stick around at 8:45 for a very brief Thanksgiving devotion to help us focus on being thankful on this very special day!  We hope to see you and look forward to showing you our gratitude!

What Child Is This…Journey To Bethlehem

DECEMBER 8 – 10
6 – 9 PM
CHURCH PARKING LOT

Have you noticed? Bethlehem is beginning to come to life. Soon it will be complete and on December 8, 9 and 10 from 6:00-9:00 pm everyone is invited to experience the sights and sounds of Bethlehem and visit the baby Jesus in the stable.

Help us get the word out by reminding family and friends to come drive thru and take in all the wonders surrounding our Savior’s birth. There are extra posters, flyers, and small business cards in the Receptionist Office if you can share or post in your workplace or business, please feel free to take them.

Also, there is room for more Village people in the cast. This is a great way for entire families to participate together. You will enjoy the food, fellowship and most of all, the fun of being in the village and a part of this event. Call or email Tim Lyons and volunteer today! You may reach him at tlyons00@gmail.com or 336-476-1117.

May this be a Christmas Blessing to everyone.
