HOMECOMING SUNDAY

SUNDAY, MAY 21
8:50 AM – Early Service with Jim sharing his call to ministry
10:00 AM – Sunday School
11:00 AM – Worship with Jim Preaching
12:00 PM – Homecoming Luncheon

We are shaking things up a little bit at Memorial!!!  This year we have moved Homecoming to the SPRING!!!  It will still be the same fun fellowship and awesome worship AND the same great covered dish lunch, just during a different time of year.

BELOVED former minister, Rev. Jim Westmoreland, who served this church from 1971 – 1987, will preach at both services.  Rev. Westmoreland served as the Youth and Young Adult minister and we are encouraging all of the many folks who were touched by his ministry to spread the word about his visit and please bring any pictures or memorabilia from that time so that we can reminisce about all of the great moments from his ministry here.

Rev. Westmoreland will present his “Call to Ministry” story at the 8:50 worship service, then he will have a different sermon prepared for the 11 AM service!  Please come for both services to hear all that Jim has to share with us!  ALSO, we will also have a special time during the service to remember those Saints who have passed since the last Homecoming!

There will be special music and of course, the covered dish luncheon following the 11 AM worship service!  For more information, please call the church office!  See you there!
