*SCHOLARSHIPS
If the cost of the trip is the only thing that is preventing you from going on this trip, please let me know, I have full and partial scholarships available!

**You will need a little money for fast food meals on the way there and on the return trip.

You may have to share a room/bed with another, we will try our best to put friends together as much as possible!  However, if you must have your own bed, you may want to consider bringing an air mattress or sleeping bag, just in case the beds do not work out!

PROGRAMMING

The THEME for the weekend will be: “UNPACK YOUR HEART”
GALATIANS 6: 1 – 5
We all have baggage and sometimes we are scared to let people know that we need help. Well, this weekend is going to show us that we have God and people that He has placed in our lives to help us unload and manage and we’re also going to learn how to be there for one another.

FUN STUFF
There is an indoor gymnasium and lots of areas to walk around.
We will bring a Frisbee, Football, Cornhole boards, and playing cards for FREE TIME, but feel free to bring a game that you can share and play with others!

1:00 PM – High Ropes Course:  THE ODYSSEY
4:00 PM – Free Time
6:00 PM – Supper
7:00 PM – Session 3

SUNDAY APRIL 9
7:00 AM – Wake-up
7:30 AM – Breakfast
8:00 AM – Load the Trailer/Clean the rooms
8:30 AM – Session 4

– Clean-up/Hug Line/Pictures
11:00 AM – Hit the Road
12:00 PM – Stop for Lunch
4:00 PM – Arrive at the church

 

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS:

NECESSITIES
We will be staying in “CABINS”.
Sheets and towels ARE provided.
You need to bring your own TOILETRIES.
You may have to share a room/bed with someone else, we will try to put friends together as much as possible!  However, if you must have your own bed, you may want to consider bringing an air mattress or sleeping bag, just in case the beds do not work out!

CLOTHES
Dress is CASUAL all weekend.
Be prepared for warm days and cool nights!
Bring some comfortable CLOSE-TOED SHOES for the ropes course.

PERSONAL ISOLATION DEVICES
This is a great trip to get to meet new people and connect with your current friends in a deeper way.  SO, bring phones and ipads, etc. ONLY IF you need them, but be ready to PUT THEM DOWN &  INTERACT with others too!

MONEY
You WILL need a little money for 2 fast food meals while traveling.
There is a Starbucks on site in the dining hall if you need a fix, but very little opportunity to spend money anywhere else.
