We are CALLED by Christ to
GROW in faith,
BUILD relationships, and

STAYING IN TOUCH WHILE THE CHURCH BUILDINGS ARE CLOSED

LENTEN DONATIONS FOR CCM

NOW THROUGH PALM SUNDAY, APRIL 5
Our canned food drive is shifting to focus on monetary donations.

Check out our Facebook page for weekly updates on where to find the can in town!

At this point in our Lenten Canned Food Drive, we’d like to shift the focus to financial donations, as that is CCM’s greatest need at this time. We hope to make donating easier with the inclusion of a CCM option on MUMC’s online payment website. Here’s how to donate to the Lenten Food Drive for CCM:

1. CLICK HERE to access the Financial Giving online form at our website, www.mumctville.org.
2. Fill in the amount you want to contribute.
3. At the end of the Fund/Budget Fund line, click the DOWN ARROW/TRIANGLE ICON and select Cooperative Community Ministries. (Do NOT select the + ANOTHER FUND button.)
5. Select GIVE ONCE or GIVE MULTIPLE TIMES, depending on your preference.
6. Select GIFT DATE to select a specific day or use the default of Today.
7. Enter your email address and click CONTINUE.
8. A new page will open where you enter your financial information. Click GIVE and you’re all set.

The site is safe and secure. Additionally, you can use this same website to do your tithing and church offerings.

We hope this helps to make donating to CCM easier and safer for you. Let us know if you have any questions.

EMPTY BOWLS UPDATE ON CANCELLATION

TO OUR EMPTY BOWLS TICKET HOLDERS & SUPPORTERS:

After much consideration, our committee has decided to cancel the Empty Bowls 2020 fundraiser. There will be no rescheduled date this year. ALL TICKETS FOR 2020 WILL BE HONORED NEXT YEAR FOR EMPTY BOWLS 2021. Please hold onto your tickets and we will do a ticket exchange in February.

If you purchased tickets and no one has reached out to you directly, please call or text Sandy McGhee at (336) 870-4015 to let us know how many tickets you purchased. We will be making a master list of ticket holders in case any tickets are lost before next February. We want to make sure EVERYONE who planned to attend Empty Bowls this year will have a new ticket for 2021.

As we navigate these uncertain times, Empty Bowls at Memorial UMC continues to be committed to helping Cooperative Community Ministry and Project Divine Interruption secure funds. Their needs will be great. Please watch for details for some alternative fundraisers planned for later this year.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
