Without your help we will not be able to offer these programs for the children in our church community. Dates and times are below and at the links provided. You may select the dates that work for you—a weekly commitment is not required.  Please pray for guidance and sign up to volunteer. Thank you!

FABRIC NEEDED FOR SEWING MINISTRY

The Tuesday Morning Sewing Ministry is asking for cotton fabric donations to make little boys’ shorts for our “dress a girl” project, a year-round ministry dedicated to making dresses for girls and shorts for boys for needy missions in Nicaragua and Guatemala. At this time, we have plenty of fabric for our dresses. If you can provide “boy themed” cotton material, 42″- 44″ wide x 1 yard (or more) that would be wonderful. Please note we can NOT use any fabric that is licensed (no Disney, superheroes, sport teams, etc.), and fabrics must have NO wording on them.  Please contact Katie Conant or Sara Faulkner with questions.  Drop off can be made at the reception office.  Thank you in advance for your generous support.

BARGAIN TREASURES THANK YOU.

First, we want to thank the congregation for following our request for cleaning and screening their items. Then a big “thank you” to those who helped set up and price the week before the sale. We are most grateful to Ron Berrier, Joe Stone, Roger Bryant, and Jerry Smith, who do so much to make this event possible every year.  And we always appreciate our youth, who help us with the move-in.

“STAR OF BETHLEHEM” IS NEW NAME FOR LIVING NATIVITY

Our living nativity, formerly known as Journey to Bethlehem/What Child Is This, has a new name beginning in 2019. Please start practicing saying “Star of Bethlehem” when you want to say “Journey.”  Also new in 2019, our event will run two days rather than three. Mark your calendars for Saturday December 14th, 6-9 PM, and Sunday December 15th, 5-8 PM. Note the earlier time on Sunday. Stay tuned for more details and ways to get involved. If you have questions, please contact David Williams.
