CARE PACKAGES & KINDNESS!
THIS WEEK, we take a Sunday to remind all of those friends that are at college that we miss them and hope that their final exams go well. We will make some care packages and include special notes for them, then send them off to their intended recipients!! After that, Kahlan has a special program about how important KINDNESS is. So, I guess that you could say that Sunday Night will be filled with KIND acts and a KIND program! It will definitely ONE OF A KIND! See you there! Supper will be served at 5 PM…
…we will be done by 7 PM!
OH AND DON’T FORGET TO BRING CANNED FOOD FOR OUR CHURCH-WIDE FOOD FIGHT!!!

FOOD FIGHT!
OCTOBER 29 – NOVEMBER 19
During the month of November we will be collecting canned food for Cooperative Community Ministries! THIS IS A COMPETITION WITH OTHER GROUPS OF THE CHURCH!!!! So don’t let me down!!! Just find (unexpired) cans of food however you can — raid your pantry at home, go around the neighborhood, go to the store and buy cans — whatever it takes and bring the cans to the church and make sure it is LABELED: “YOUTH” so we get credit for it! Rewards for the victors will be announced soon!! (So will punishments for the losers – not that we need to worry about that!)
THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST
NOVEMBER 23
8 – 9 AM
Thanksgiving morning we will prepare and serve our annual Thanksgiving Breakfast to the our congregation! Our church supports us in so many ways, this is a way to offer appreciation for this support! I need cooks, servers and washers! Signup early by letting Rodney know what you want to do and plan on attending this great event! (Cooks arrive at 6 AM, Servers arrive at 7 AM, and Food is served at 8 AM!)
THOMASVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE

This year, Memorial will have a float in the Thomasville Christmas Parade!!! If you are willing to walk along the parade route with us and pass out candy and flyers, WE NEED YOU!!! Call Rodney (336) 906-3036 if you are interested!

We need actors and village people to come and help during the weekend of our LIVE DRIVE-THROUGH NATIVITY! We need people for all three nights, and you can invite your friends and family!
