CHURCH PICNIC!!!!
THIS WEEK we are meeting at Sonny Koontz’s Farm (See directions from the church below). (If you need a ride, please contact Rodney, otherwise you will be responsible for your own transportation this week!)
Don’t miss out on this year’s Memorial Church Picnic! We will have hamburgers and hotdogs, football and cornhole, a BIG bounce house for the kids, a campfire and lots of fun fellowship!
Please bring your own lawn chair and a dessert to share, everything else will be provided.

CROP WALK 2017
In a few weeks we will be participating in the High Point Crop Walk. The idea is that we get sponsors to give us money, then we walk a loop in High Point to raise awareness for World Hunger and we take the money that we raise and turn it in so that starving people all over the world can be helped.
Memorial Youth’s page can be found HERE! You can register for the walk here and begin asking for donations. The walk will be Sunday, September 24 so make sure you register before that date!!!
SMALL GROUPS ARE STARTING UP!!!
So, for the last few years we have had steady growth in our “Youth Small Group” ministry. Some of you may not be aware, but we have a few small groups that meet on Wednesdays at 6 PM (they usually end around 7 PM) at the church. These small groups are designed to be different than our Sunday Night Programs. Instead of wild activities or discussing issues, Small Groups meet simply to share about how your week is going and to have a few people pray for you and your life. You will in turn get to pray for others and hear about their week as well. Small Groups are made up of 8 -12 people and you can become a part of one at anytime.
WHAT DO WE DO?
When you meet you are asked to share 3 questions:
What was the HIGH POINT of your week?
What was the LOW POINT of your week?
Where did you see GOD during the week?
HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?
Its pretty simple, but it is very meaningful to those who attend and you have an invitation to join a small group as well. The Fall Small Groups begin on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 at 6 PM. Contact Rodney and he will help you find the perfect fit for you in a small group! Hope to see you there!
